The Southwestern College men’s basketball team dominated Bethel 82-74 for the KCAC tournament title Monday night inside Hartman Arena in Wichita.
The No. 22 Builders were perfect at the free throw line until a late miss with under a minute to play.
Overall, SC shot 26-of-27 at the stripe.
Southwestern junior and Ark City High School grad Cevin Clark was 14-of-14 at the line and led all scorers with 29 points.
Kansas City senior Deng Bol also had 20-plus with 23 points and five rebounds.

Andrew O’Brien, a junior out of Halstead, nearly had a double-double with 19 points, eight boards and two assists for SC.
Senior Cooper Pierce, another Ark City product, chipped in nine points, five rebounds and an assist for the Moundbuilders.
Southwestern led the Threshers 46-31 at halftime.
