The City-Cowley County Health Department is rolling out a mobile app that will be ready for download on Friday.
According to the health department, the app will allow Cowley County residents to receive the latest updates in public health as well as National Weather Service alerts.
Another function of the app will be the ability to request appointments at the health department. It will also be loaded with information about the health department’s services as well as local resources within the county.
The app will be available for free from both the Apple and Google Play stores.
