After helping the Cowley College baseball team to a 44-11 record and a top-10 national ranking in the final regular season poll, right-hander Barrett Morgan was selected this week by the Boston Red Sox in the 11th round of the Major League Baseball draft.
Morgan was dominant in the team’s closer role, finishing 5-0 with four saves and an earned run average of 0.42 during the 2025 season.
The righthander struck out 40 and walked four in 21 1/3 innings pitched as he was named a First Team All-Conference and All-Region selection.
