An adventure that began in Ark City at the end of March is nearing completion for Guinness-record seeker Warren Edwards.
Edwards is attempting to visit all 50 states in 50 days, one day after the next. He was in Flagstaff, Az. today (Wednesday) for day 40. He will then have 10 states remaining, beginning Thursday in Las Vegas.
The final three days of the journey include whirlwind trips to Alaska, Hawaii and Edwards’s home state of California for the finish.
In each state, Edwards is biking and walking a total of 50 miles, doing 50 push ups, eating a cheeseburger, having a shake and filling in a spot on his 50 states tattoo.
He is in pursuit of a Guinness World Record.
