An elderly male was found with a fatal gunshot wound Monday in rural Cowley County.
Cowley County Sheriff David Falletti told Cowley Post Monday afternoon authorities were called to the 18000 block of 151st road east of Winfield at 11:30 a.m.
An elderly male was found deceased on the property of the residence, located south of U.S. 160 between Winfield and Tisdale, with a gunshot wound.
It is believed the gunshot was self-inflicted.
