After spending the past four years working for the Dallas Baptist University athletics department, Jeremy Fortner was recently hired as the new assistant athletic director at Cowley College.
Fortner takes over for Ali Nittler, who has been hired to be an accounting instructor at the school.
Fortner graduated from Campus High School in 2016 and went on to attend Dallas Baptist University to play hockey. After graduating from DBU in 2020 with a degree in sports management, he began working for their athletics department as the assistant hockey coach and director of hockey operations. While At Dallas Baptist University, Fortner also got his Masters in sports management in 2022.
“I am thrilled at this amazing opportunity to join the Cowley family and to serve as the assistant athletic director in this historically great athletics department,” Fortner said.
