A man – yet to be identified by name – is in stable condition following injuries sustained in a scaffolding collapse at Skyline Homes in Ark City.
Late this morning, the Arkansas City Fire-EMS Department responded to a call regarding a traumatic injury at 315 W. Skyline Rd. Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered a male victim who had already been freed from the collapsed scaffolding.
Emergency crews then extricated the victim from the roof of a mobile home and provided immediate medical attention.
The man was taken to the SCK Medical Center emergency room for treatment and had stabilized, according to a media statement from Ark City Fire-EMS.
