Minor injuries sustained by those involved in motor-vehicle accident near Belle Plaine Sunday

Multiple people sustained minor injuries Sunday in a two-vehicle accident northwest of Belle Plaine in Sumner County, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

43-year-old Angelica Morris, of Rose Hill, was eastbound in a Chrysler 300 on E. 120th Ave. North and came to an uncontrolled intersection at N. Hillside Rd. She failed to yield the right of way to a 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by 34-year-old Chace Moeder of Belle Plaine.

The two vehicles collided at the intersection and were severely damaged, according to the patrol report. (Continue story below ads.)

36-year-old Nicholas Neal of Wichita was a passenger in the Chrysler 300. 

All three involved were said to have sustained minor injuries. Neal and Morris were transported to a Wichita hospital to be evaluated.
