Winfield USD 465 will be looking for a new school superintendent.
According to the school district Tuesday, Nathan Reed is resigning.
“The Board of Education has accepted the resignation of Superintendent Dr. Nathan Reed,” USD 465 stated on its Facebook page. “Dr. Reed has accepted a position in Wichita and will begin upon completion of his current contract.”
The school district said it will decide the next steps for filling the position at the Feb. 13 BOE meeting.
Reed has been the superintendent of USD 465 since July 2018.
