A search warrant served at an Ark City home last weekend has resulted in the arrests of two local men.
Ark City Police and the Cowley County Sheriff’s Dept. executed that warrant in the 800 block of South 6th Street. A search was conducted as part of a drug-related investigation.
Law enforcement had received reports of drug-related activity occurring at the home.
65-year-old Johnny Knight was arrested on charges of possessing meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He had bond set at $6,000.
60-year-old William Dial was arrested on charges of two counts of possessing opiates and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $4,500.
Both men were transported to the Cowley County Jail in Winfield, posted bond and were later released.
