More than three inches of fluffy snow and no school on a Friday led to plenty of sledding fun throughout the area.
Madden White, at left above, seemed less enthused about a trip down the hill, than her sledding partner, Rayden Wagner. Both were among the many kids and adults sledding at a popular spot near Ark City Middle School.
Snow hit the area for the second time in a week but seemed unlikely to last long as temps climbed above freezing. Road crews were busy scraping and treating streets and highways.
Weekend temperatures are expected to climb near 40 degrees by Saturday.
