Firefighters responded to a structure fire Monday night in Ark City.
According to a news release from the ACFD, firefighters responded to a home near South B Street and Taylor Avenue.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., personnel arrived on the scene and discovered smoke from the structure’s front entrance. Fire crews did quick work in extinguishing the fire. Winfield and Udall Fire Departments assisted.
One firefighter was taken to the hospital for a minor non-fire-related injury. He was quickly treated and released. No other injuries or a cause of the blaze was reported by the fire department.
