Daina Butler currently serves as Superintendent of Spearville USD 381. She previously worked as a building principal in that district.
Before moving into administration, Daina spent more than 20 years as a classroom teacher in Texas, Colorado, and Kansas. Her background in both teaching and leadership shapes her approach to supporting students and staff.
During her time as superintendent, she has led strategic planning efforts, expanded career and technical education programs, including agriculture and FFA, and supported targeted student interventions. Colleagues describe her as thoughtful, steady, and committed to her community.
