A Wellington woman has been identified as the person killed in a motorcycle accident early Wednesday about five miles west of Winfield.

53-year-old Salena M. Dennis was eastbound on U.S. 160 when her 2010 Harley-Davidson FLH struck a deer that entered the roadway. She could not avoid the animal, according to the KHP report.
