A Winfield man was killed in a one-vehicle rollover Tuesday morning.
According to a news release from the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the 33000 block of U.S. 77 near the Kansas/Oklahoma state line.
The driver, 49-year-old Eric Michael Andes, was driving a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee northbound on U.S. 77 when it left the roadway and rolled several times coming to rest in the median.
Andes was announced deceased at the scene by medical personnel.
There were no passengers. An autopsy has been ordered by Coroner Dr. Willie Posey.
