William Newton Hospital CEO Ben Quinton continues to be on paid administrative leave.
The WNH Board of Trustees extended Quinton’s leave to Aug. 31 after an executive session Friday morning. It’s the second extension of leave since the situation was first announced by the hospital June 30.
No details on why Quinton was placed on paid administrative leave have been released by the hospital.
The board will meet again on Sept. 1.
Quinton has been the CEO of WNH since March 2013. The board has appointed Chief Financial Officer Brian Barta as interim CEO.
