The Cowley College Choir has been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City next May, giving local students an opportunity to take the stage at one of the world’s best-known concert venues.
The choir is scheduled to perform in May 2027 under the direction of guest conductor Dr. Brad Vogel in partnership with MidAmerica Productions.
Before students can get to New York, however, they’ll have some fundraising to do.
The choir plans several fundraisers throughout the school year to help cover costs associated with the trip, beginning with a T-shirt sale that is already underway and continues through Sept. 25.

Additional fundraising efforts planned during the school year include an Ark City Greenhouse poinsettia fundraiser, a Pizza Ranch Community Night, a raffle and a taco and salsa fundraiser next spring. Continue story below ad.
Students will also spend the coming months preparing musically for the Carnegie Hall appearance.
The trip will include more than the performance itself. Plans call for students to attend a Broadway production, tour New York City and spend time with other student performers.
College officials said the experience will give choir members an opportunity to perform on an internationally recognized stage while experiencing New York City’s performing arts and culture.
Additional information about fundraising efforts and ways to support the choir’s trip will be announced throughout the school year.
