Winfield High School Girls Swim Coach Dustin Durbin was named the Coach of the Year and the Vikings finished as the top 4A team in the state and seventh overall in Topeka over the weekend.
The state meet, held at Hummer Sports Complex from Thursday through Saturday, saw classes 1A through 5A compete.
Junior Emma Moore was the highest-placing Viking individually and finished fifth in the state in the 200 Free. She also finished 10th in the 100 Free.
Reese Isom, another Winfield junior, took a top 10 in the 500 Free with a 9th place finish. Sophomore Jordan Hughes was right behind Isom and finished 10th in that event. Junior Ella Kohpay was 12th.
The 200 Free Relay team of Moore, fellow junior Allie Pippett, Hughes and junior Lydia Nelson took eighth.
The 200 Yard Medley Relay team of Hughes, Moore, Kohpay and Isom finished 11th, while the 400 Free Relay team of Nelson, Kohpay, Isom and Pippitt were 12th.
Nelson was 13th in the state in the 100 Breaststroke.
Hughes finished the season 11th in the 200 IM while Isom was right behind in 12th.
