Two vehicles were involved in a minor-injury accident Tuesday that occurred on U.S. 77 high near Strother Field, according to the Cowley County Sheriff’s Dept.
The accident was reported just before 3:50 p.m. when a 1986 Ford F-250 pickup, driven by James Adcock, 58, Ark City, collided with a 2018 Ford Escape, driven by Emmalynn Jones, 19, Winfield. Adock was cited for failure to yield, according to the sheriff’s dept.
Both drivers were evaluated by Winfield Fire & EMS and refused transport to the hospital.
Both Ark City and Winfield EMS responded to the scene.
