A rollover accident early Friday morning near Udall, left two people injured, according to a report from the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office.
At 2:21 a.m., deputies were dispatched to an injury accident in the 3000 block of 31st Rd. A 1995 white Ford truck was found abandoned at that location.
Further investigation determined that 18-year–old Jack Hopper, Udall, had been travelling northbound on 31st when his truck veered off the roadway. The vehicle struck a culvert and overturned onto its side.
Hopper sustained injuries and was transported by private vehicle to William Newton Hospital in Winfield. A juvenile passenger was also located and had sustained injuries.
An investigation is ongoing. No other details are available at this time.
