A Colorado driver sustained minor injuries Tuesday afternoon in a single vehicle accident on K-15 south of Dexter, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
59-year-old Robert Russell, of Rangely, Colo., was southbound on K-15 when his 2004 Chevy Silverado left the roadway, went through the west ditch and through a fence into a pasture. The vehicle then struck the fence a second time and came to a rest.’
The accident occurred just north of U.S. 166 highway, around 3:40 p.m.
Russell was taken to SCK Medical Center in Ark City for treatment of minor and non-life-threatening injuries.
