The Winfield Police Department’s annual Community Night Out will return Saturday, Oct. 11, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Island Park.

The free event gives residents the chance to connect with first responders and local organizations. The evening begins with a hot dog meal provided by the Winfield Lions Club. Emergency personnel will be on hand to answer questions and demonstrate their equipment.

Activities include bounce houses sponsored by the Winfield Recreation Commission and entertainment on the Rotary Performance Stage from the Cowley County Historical Society, Snark Side of the Moon Improv Troupe, and White Tiger Martial Arts. Gift baskets and goodie bags will be given away while supplies last.

Community Night Out is organized by the Winfield Police Department with support from area agencies, including Winfield Fire and EMS, the City-Cowley County Health Department, SAFE Kids Cowley County, William Newton Hospital, and the Winfield Public Library.
