Victor Pu Sánchez, a 16-year-old boxer training at TRFC Boxing & MMA in Arkansas City, won his debut bout this past weekend at the “Joplin vs. The World – Vol. 3” event in Joplin, Missouri.
TRFC Boxing & MMA is a locally owned boxing and mixed martial arts training facility located at 3124 North Summit in Arkansas City. The gym focuses on fitness, boxing and MMA training and regularly features local athletes in regional competition.
Pu Sánchez is coached by Tim Richardson and Sal Vasquez. Richardson brings 44 years of boxing experience to the gym, having started the sport at age nine, and previously trained Vasquez when he was a teenager.
